bs/md chances?

Hi,

I was wondering if I should go to a combined program, and if so, which ones?

I'm going to be a senior in HS.

*SAT: 2220 - 1520 (Math - 760, Crit Reading - 760, Writing - 700) - going to retake, try for 800 in math, 750 in writing.
*SAT II: Math IIC: 800, Chemistry: 750, Biology: 730, US History: 760 - should I try to retake chemistry?
*PSAT: 220
*APs I'm going to take: Statistics, Gov/Eco, Spanish, Art History, English IV
*AP's taken:
Biology - 5, World History - 5, Chemistry - 5, Physics - 5, English III - 5, Calc BC - 5, US History - 5
*Rank: 2/662
*EC's:
Carroll Medical Academy, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Interact Club, UIL Science (reached Regionals, hope to get to state), etc
*Volunteering: ~70 hrs in hospitals, ~100+ tutoring, going to do an internship next year.

So what do you guys think?

I'm going to apply to USC combined (I think I have a chance), Northwestern and Washington combined (almost no chance), and Rice/Baylor (not sure how much chance I have).

Input's appreciated!

I say you have a good chance, just make sure that you write some really good essays. That could the defining point between applicants who have similar stats as yours.
Good luck :)

ok, thanks, I will definitely work on those essays

I really wouldn't bother retaking any tests. Your scores are very good and your rank is, as well. Your time would probably be better spent working on essays . . . which are really what will make or break you; after all, everyone who applies to these programs have great test scores and grades.

And think about it, your grades/rank and test scores already establish you as academically qualified/competitive; getting perfect scores won't tell them anything they already don't know, which is that you're smart, i.e. you'll do well in the program. What is really important is standing out from all the other applicants with exemplary stats and the only way you can directly affect your standing out is through your essays.

Your stats look good. You have a pretty good chance.

Remember the final selection depends on the personal interview. Be well prepared for this.

can u take a look at my stats and give me your input?

I didn't take any APs this year (junior year) because I'm also in a part time intense religious studies school and the prayer leader at my mosque.. so I had no time for them this year, but I will take four or five next year when ill have a lot more time. So that's probably my biggest weakness. other than that, what do u think?
