BSA Invitational Weekend

I sent in my registration form(s) a while ago (about two weeks) is there some sort of comfirmation I should be waiting for, or is that it?

I dunno. I just received my letter on Friday and faxed it to them that night. Maybe they are still processing the forms?

Anyways I cant wait to go.

me too.. i am SO excited! :)

Are you taking the Duke Express? I live in NoVA so I am catching the bus at Springfield. The only thing that bothers me is that I probably will not get to attend any classes on Thursday because the Express does not get to Durham until 3:00 pm.

hahah COINCIDENTALLY i'm taking the Duke Express from Springfield, too! So hey, I might see you! and yeah, that sucks about the classes... but at least we'll be able to go on Friday!

How much stuff are you two bringing? I don't want to carry too much stuff and look like an idiot or too little and be lucked out for the weekend. Also, is this supposed to be a casual or formal affair?

i'm not bring that much (well, in my opinion i'm not): two or three pairs of jeans, a couple shirts, a sweat shirt, a dress (for the dinner), couple pairs of shoes, and a jacket. it's mostly a casual thing (attending classes, tours, parties) except for the formal dinner with the faculty on the first night.

has anyone received comfirmation??

No, i don't think we're getting any. Are you really going to bring a sleeping bag?

I am, I do not want to be stuck sleeping on the hard college dorm floor. But last time I went on a college overnight I had nice hosts who actually bought a air bed for me. So i would probably bring one just in case.

i'm bringing a sleeping bag just in case, too

I was invited, but I can't go. Could the invitation be considered a "likely letter" or sorts?

yeah, it is a likely letter

6 Days So Excited =)
