I was admitted to BU for the Spring 2006 and am deciding between BU, Kenyon, and Vassar (I haven’t heard from Kenyon or Vassar yet). BU looks most appealing to me but the online letter that notified me of my admission said that there is no housing for transfer students for the spring. Should this be something to deter me away from BU considering the price/not being able to meet people as easily? Thanks.

At some universities, if you live in university housing and move off-campus, you lose your priority in the future to live on campus. I don't know if this is the same situation, because you'd be living off-campus from the start. Check with the housing office. Also find out what your housing priority would be for fall.

Are you a transfer student or a freshman? I'm sure you could meet people easily in your classes, if you get involved in a few clubs, eat some meals in a dorm, etc.
