BU Liberal Arts/Accelerated Medical School

I’m just curious if anyone knows anything about the BU accelerated medical program. I know the stuff that’s readily available on the website, but if anyone that went there had information on the curriculum, area, or financial aid available it would be great.

well the 7 yr program consists of you taking medical modules while youre graduating in 3 yrs from undergrad. i think youre major is basically decided for u so u have the minimal requirements necessary to graduate with a major and fulfill your premed requirements. my ra was 7 yr and he took histology at the med school during his sr year along with the biochem. its intense, and they accept about 20 ppl every year. MMEDIC is 8 yr but you get early acceptance in your soph yr. hope this helps.

Thanks <10 chars>

They accept about 50-60....interview like 100 though. the curriculum is great...you have the science classes with mostly program kids the first year and classes are pretty intense. other than that its a great program because they really do want everyone to make it all 7 years. best thing is all the kids work together and help eachother...very little competition if any. they look for service and giving back ..good luck
