Anyone else applying or anyone who has already attended? I'm thinking about applying for the internship in biology, medical research or astronomy.

Questions for those who have already attended:

Did you enjoy the program?

What did you think of your peers? It's pretty important to me that the group is driven and intelligent.

How much leeway is given to explore Boston? When? Where?

Does the program facilitate college visits? (to Harvard, MIT, Brown, etc)

How bad are the dorms/food? Are rooms single/double/triple? Did you like your roommate? What are the gender rules? I know that each gender has their own tower, but I am allowed to have a girl in my room if the door is open?

Would it be difficult to get in a lot of exercise? I'd like to run for an hour in the morning, plus another in the early evening. Are there convenient areas to run (on or off campus), or is there an accessible gym with treadmills or an indoor track. Or is there a nearby outdoor track?

Is it hard to get accepted to a program where you haven't had much prior instruction? I've never taken astronomy, but I'd really like to study it.

Finally, how difficult is it to be accepted to the program? I have a 223 on the PSAT with perfect in math (I plan on submitting this, unless I do better on the January SAT) and mostly mid As with 89s for two semesters in the past few years. I think my essay will be good, and my recs as well. I'm also planning on applying very soon.
