I am planning on transferring to Boston University after (what will be by the time I transfer) one year at the University of South Florida. I had around a 3.7 (a A by our 0-100 grading scale) in high school (AP's mostly), lots of EC's (JROTC, Club, Varsity Soccer Captain, Volunteering, physician shadowing) about a 2080 SAT. I've been here not that long and so I am not heavily involved outside of volunteering 4 hours on the weekends and a Medical Interest Group. Trying to keep up with the work. Do they look more at high school or college stats if you are transferring after only one year? Currently I have 4's across the board and should stay that way for the rest of the year barring a A- or a B+ to slip in. What are my chances?

I think they look mostly at your new college experiences. They want to see how you took advantage of the college experience so far. Of course they will look at your high schools stuff a little but theyre more worried about the kind of student you are now than back in hs.
