<p>I was rejected today (2 times by cornell and NYU. OUCH)</p>
<p>Although luckily, i already had somewhere else to go, I feel really bad because I still wanted to be accepted...</p>

<p>Speaking of crummy situations...my friend got into all of her #1 choices (she had 4) except for Yale. Since her parents own a business and stuff she is getting crap for aid from Conn college and Wheaton. Then middlebury comes saying they will offer her aid, so she is pretty much set to go there. Suddenely they somehow see something else in the updated report she filed and now they are giving her crap also. This incredibly smart girl is probably going to end up at one of thoe dime a dozen schools because of this and I feel HORRIBLE for her because she is a GREAT person!</p>
<p>How much EFC is she expecting? I'm sorry but if she's expecting around 10K~ 20K what about students like me expecting 0~ 3K...? I need more grants... =_=;;</p>
<p>Well...Middlebury is about $42,340 and the others are close by so she obviously needs a good amount of money to go...</p>

<p>Im going to the University of Virginia Echols scholars program. I got a guaranteed transfer from Cornell. But i also got a FULL TUITION covered by UVA and a free laptop, so i dunno if i will take Cornell's offer for next year.</p>
