<p>I got into IUB and AUBG (duh), but I got wait-listed at Dickinson. BTW I also applied to Brown!!! So now if I get rejected/wait-listed I know I can blame you for it! :)</p>
<p>Now seriously, do you have any news? And did you have any interviews? I only a phone one with Brown (Moni Hamolsky).</p>
<p>ps: We're organizing a ritual burning of all rejection letters on Marcch 30th, Friday, and you're welcome to join but hopefully you won't need to!</p>

I dunno about US colleges... not counting on it..but we'll see in a few days
I applied to Vassar, Swarthmore, Colgate, Macalester, Lafayette, Richmond (was semi-finalist for a scholarship</p>
<p>I was a semi-finalist for RS too, but that's as far as I went :)))
WE don't have any other colleges in common, BUT one is quite enough for one of us to get screwed hahha. I'm kinda worried about Richmond because I need full cost of attendance and without being a finalist....I'm not sure they'd be willing to give $40000 financial aid, so this may be a huge impediment to my (and yours maybe?) application. I'll find out today if I got in, because I have someone to call in and ask. You should expect your decision by email by the end of next week, I asked them yesterday :)</p>
<p>Swarthmore is great!!! You'd be so lucky to get in!!! Keeping my fingers crossed.</p>
<p>The rest I think you have a pretty good chance for, Colgate takes a lot of Bulgarians usually :)</p>

<p>Hey, I am from Bulgaria too. Do you have any information on organizations giving scholarships to Bulgarians/ eastern europeans accepted to US universitites? What is this RS scholarship? I received a likely letter from my dearest Cornell but I doubt it that I'll get enough fin aid and that is why I have to research some outside scholarship opportunities.
scissor-shaped, congrats for IUB I think it is a teriffic school... I applied there on 3rd round but sent them a very crappy essay because I did everything in the last moment, had no electricity the whole day then and finally submitted it full of errors. They should consider Bulgarian conditions.. (and I live in Sofia not in Malo Buchino) Where are you from, BTW?</p>

<p>Not really.. a lot of qualified students(with international olympiads and stuff) from my school apply there. I got defferred even ED when there weren't so much of them:(</p>

Oh, btw I also got in AUBG. Do you consider it as an option? For me it is the best in Bulgaria, but still am not very enthusiastic about it.</p>

<p>Yes I am from Bulgaria too. I have lived in Canada for a long time though even did some colege here but am now considering moving back there and finishing up by BA at AUBG. If anyone has any comments or anything they can share about the place I would be really grateful since I haven't spend more than a couple of weeks at a time in BG since I was a kid am mostly in the dark about student life and structures and so on. </p>

<p>Im bulgarian too...it feels great to meet you. Im applying this fall from Italy. Ive lived all over the world but i come back to BG every summer :)
