from what I have heard of the skulls and bones society:

1.)Memebers are REALLY popular students at the Yale campus.
2.) Memebers are those that show promising leadership in American politics. Some politicians (ex. Kerry) we such members.
3.) obviously everyone knows that its is a very selective organisation.

they called Kim Jong(Korean president), "Kim possible" hahaha

thats a funny joke. Buts it's definitely outdated. lol

well if you know so much about international economics why don't you argue a valid point rather than constantly sayin "conservative suck...go liberals!".....and no...you have not matured to the college level quite yet....you learn how to communicate with the same group of ppl that you've known for several years during highschool....you're not on your own...you dont' know how to accomodate others' views.....furthermore....you couldnt' possibly argue the "conservative's point of view."....you can only debate accurately and persuasively if you have the capacity to argue both sides. It shows you see things from both points of view, and you understand why one might think the way they do. You cannot do this...you push your view, and then you bash others who don't hold it. You know, I see the reasons ppl like sempitern, watercannon, and Alexandre think the way they do, and if i wanted to side with them and persuade others to think the way they do, I could easily help them along...i know why they feel the way they do, and I believe they have a valid argument, and I do believe they can see things from the "conservative's point of view," and if they wanted to push my view with facts they could do so....but we look at the reasons, and think some reasons outweigh others and that leads us to argue what we argue the way we argue it....we dont' simply go along and bash conservatives or liberals...we're not going along saying one group is more incompetent than the other....you can't do this...you have not matured well enough to participate in a legitimate debate.

lets all take a deep breath

4) Children of alum members usually get in

Per the book written about them by one of the few members who quit:

4.) You need to masturbate in a coffin during initiation.

"conservative suck...go liberals!".....

Haha. When did I say anything even close to that? You seem to be a hypocrite since all you are doing is bashing me. What mature behavior!!

you couldnt' possibly argue the "conservative's point of view."....

I guess I have to tell you this a million times-- I am more of an Anti-Bush person that I am of being anti-conservative.

"you can't do this...you have not matured well enough to participate in a legitimate debate."

This isnt even a debate. All I see is me and you responding to each other's post and calling each other immature. And I do have experience of college life-- I study there three days a week and so there is no way you can conclude that I am not mature enough for college.

Yeah riiiiiiiiiiiigt................

well if you know so much about international economics

I advise you to read my post at least ten times. I specificlly said that even though I am taking a course in it, I havent acquired much knowledge out of it (since I started the class just a few weeks ago.)

You can argue on and on over this childish argument. I would rather continue a debate (if there was any). I wanted to post my argument about Bush's policy over student financial aid on the Dartmouth thread, but I didnt have the time. Probably I will bring up the issue today. Its simply useless to respond to your whining, so its wise of me to rather not.

You need to masturbate in a coffin during initiation

ummmm.... I think you have a better chance for admission by being Al Gore and inventing the internet.....

Al Gore invented insulting people on the internet(what uc_benz claims), NOT the internet itdself. How is it that you don't understand that?

Al Gore invented insulting people on the internet(what uc_benz claims)

Thats sounds as ridiculous as inventing the internet itself!

How do you ever "invent insults" over the internet? And how did Al Gore become the inventor? Did he send "Bush is Gay" messages to your AIM? haha, yeah, this does sound stupid.

oh yeah, Al Gore made history when he became the first person ever to insult people online.... i guess uc_benz said that as a joke.

He also said that Bush's presidential victory was the largest in YEARS. Look at how I blasted that argument.

do you not understand that they were talking about online, negative political ads?...Al Gore was the first to use this in the 2000 election...what's so hard to understand about that?

"Obvioulsy the economy is not good but the conservatives can go on and on using really useless information to support their arguments."

"Looks like the conservatives are OWNED!!! They now have two choices- either to stay silent in shame for voting for this man OR to divert to another topic as they usually do."

"And i agree with Alexandre that Bush is a racist like most other conservatives."

"It is a time for triumph where the democrats finally defeated the conservatives in this debate (as they always do)"

trying to make conservatives appear inferior to liberals? i think so...

"what's so hard to understand about that?"

umm.... I dont think "internet insults" and "negative poticals ads" mean the same thing.

"It is a time for triumph where the democrats finally defeated the conservatives in this debate (as they always do)"

haha. Looking through the Dartmouth threads for all my personal attacks? Its funny how you are avoiding how I argued there and provided support using sources, even being outnumbered on the thread. Digging through the CC boards for all my attacks makes you such a mature man!! (sarcastic)

"And i agree with Alexandre that Bush is a racist like most other conservatives."

Since when did agreeing with a liberal mean putting down conservatives?

"Looks like the conservatives are OWNED!!! They now have two choices- either to stay silent in shame for voting for this man OR to divert to another topic as they usually do."

Wow. The only reason I said that is because none of the conservatives were responding to my post about Bin Laden. Notice that I used direct quotes to support my argument. Conservatives couldnt make a valid response to it (even though I repeated this numerouis times), and so I said that to ensure their response.

"Obvioulsy the economy is not good but the conservatives can go on and on using really useless information to support their arguments."

The quotes speaks for itself. The conservatives are trying to defend Bush's policy even by the fact that they are harming the economy.

I didnt mean to justify everything I said, I just responded to show how you can easilly come to wrong conclusions. Certainly these quotes do not mean anything close to "conservatives are inferior to liberals." Maybe you need to analyze people's post better to even start a debate.

woot woot primitive, rock on!

Some things never change.

I think the only thing this last page (12) of arguments has prooven is that some liberals have way too much time on their hands to post line by line psycho-analytical discussions breaking down every post by a conservative in an attempt to, in their minds, "win" an argument that can't be won by either side. I especially enjoy the old chestnut of "conservative A didn't respond to my last post with his own dissertation, that means he lost the argument and has nothing to say"...it's some good fun.

nice to hear from you uc_benz, I still havent recieved your pictures. I guess you were bluffing.....

looking through the Dartmouth thread...i see more personal attacks where you're calling one person or another an idiot rather than proving a coherent point...your posts try to make conservatives appear inferior...in this thread alone...i've seen you make crazy statements with no significance to the present argument, and you haven't supported your arguments with any facts...look at the begining of this thread when you were arguing the media has no affect on ppls' lives!...hahahaha....that's an argument you lost, because even liberals will agree that the media shapes public opinion and affects how we live our lives/view individuals, groups, situations, etc...for the remainder of the thread, you've contributed two bush quotes...nothing more....your views are based on mere assumption...you only use your perception of the world to articulate an argument...you don't use statistics, facts, findings of political science, etc. You say something and you leave it at that...you depend on others to back up your argument, because you don't have the information to do it yourself, and then you depend on personal attacks when intellegent individuals refute your beliefs. You live in a world of illusion...you think you know every loophole and intricate detail when you have only a general idea of how it works. You depend heavily on stereotypes...you automatically label conservatives as wrong and liberals as right when both have equally intellegent/valid points

You haven't received them, because like I said, I am out of the country. Don't worry, you will get them when I return next week.
