Hey there,

I was accepted to Cal Poly SLO (Economics) and UC Irvine (Business Economics) for this fall as a freshman. I’ve visited both campuses and liked both quite a bit. I’ve seen UCI’s a couple times, but only took about an hour walk through CPSLO so we’re gonna go up there and check it out again.

Anyway, what’s the business school (Orfalia??) like at Cal Poly? Obviously it’s not UCLA or Cal, but is it a good business school for undergrads and looked at well by employers? UCI doesn’t really have an undergrad business degree, but I’ve heard they’re going to have one within the next couple years.

But then I thought recruitment is probably better out of UCI as there are quite a few businesses near it. I don’t think you could say the same about Cal Poly.

Anyway, any insight about either school would be great as I know this is going to be a tough decision.
