Hello,
Our son has the following Business School options: IU Kelley(Direct Admit), Pitt, Syracuse, and Penn State. Disregarding Cost of Attendance, we would love to hear people’s impressions of these schools. Covid has restricted our ability to visit.
Thank you!
IU-Kelley as a direct admit should be given serious consideration.
Cost should play a big part as they are all good schools and none worth a huge premium over the others.
Kelley is a top tier business school and is what IU is known for. These other universities are better overall, but are more well-rounded. I’d say if your son is certain about business, Kelley is the strongest option recognition-wise.
Kelley is awesome school and campus is beautiful. My daughter is direct admit and I have sought out advice from friends in various industries and everyone of them says they love to hire Kelley grads. Out of at least 10 contacts all responses are glowing praise. And some grads I know spoke highly of the education and were thrilled with career counseling services provided.
I lean toward IU, but the overall university can be at-least as important as the business school - throughout a person’s lifetime. My student would select the one she prefers based upon your school acceptances. There is not much of a difference among the 4 schools - all good places.
