You're taking a break from homework, or it's the weekend and you're just chilling. Reading a book, watching a youtube video, playing guitar, doodling...etc... Then all of a sudden your door bursts open and your mom walks in at that particular moment, and owns you.

Do I really need to be studying 24/7? Do I really need to take another SAT practice test? Seriously, what's good enough?

SAT story of my life Good thing I’m done in that department, but nagging never helped me. I did worst when I got forced to study, best when I studied on my own.

My version of that is my mom’s instance that I take a prep course. I’m taking it in March and just want to prove to her that I can score in my goal range without prep courses.

Prep courses won’t help you improve. They just force you to study. As long as you study on your own a prep course isn’t necessary. I took a prep course and it didn’t help, only you can help yourself.

There have been times where my parents will come in and chastise me for procrastinating, but for the most part, they leave me to study on my own, because they know I care about academics and such.

with that sexy chinese accent WHY ARE YOU STUDYINNG? YOU SAT SCORE SO ROW ROOK AT ALL YOUR FRIENDS THEY HAVE 2500 IN THE SAT YOU ONLY HAVE ONE WEEK LEFT SO GO PRACTIICE! take out bamboo stick O.o
