Kchen, what are you talking about!? ?_? How come on my computer it says Age:18. >O Either something is wrong with your computer, or computer is drunk. x.x;

yea it does say 18
oh the big 18....your an adult.....you must be very happy

=/ Not really. I don't even act my age. >/ I act like I'm 12 in real life. >P That explains why I don't have a date. Anyway bye everyone! I won't be on for couple days. ;D Wisconsin, here I come!

I should send you a screenshot. It still says 17 on mine.

Obviously you pay for the girl's ticket....

Since they gotta pay for the dress, hair, makeup, and all sort of things.

ours are ~$65 per couple, and i think $40 per person.

seniors get free tickets, though. SWEET!

I'm going to prom with my best guy friend and he bought my ticket. Senior tickets are only $20 a person. I offered to buy mine, but he insisted on paying for it.

kchen, you probably have a cookie from which CC is loading that has not been updated.
And prom tickets are around $60/head, and can be bought only in singles, so each person going pays their fare.

Happy belated birthday, PUNKiiE! :D haha. suh-weeeetttt.
i think i will probably ask an upperclassman to my prom. because most of the guys in my class are extremely immature and i highly doubt i'll get asked, and because i'm not going to wait 100 years for some guy to muster up his courage the day before prom and ask me.

It is suprising that so many schools allow underclassmen into prom-here only seniors from the high school are permitted to attend. They even have ID checks at the door; someone once attempted to bring a student in from another school, and was denied in a very public manner.

what?! a prom where you can't bring guests??... I'm glad we don't have that policy because all the guys are either taken or are losers :(. last year someone even brought a date who was 25 O_O

Most students attend other proms courtesy of the five private girls high schools within a six mile radius, which all allow guests.

Well, lrg&nchrg, do you think she's worth it? :p

Man, you try too hard...

^^ i try to hard or the op?

OP. (10 char)

bestmiller.....

hotel room?

wow, you really seem like a sincere, honest person. sheesh.

oh. my. god. my jaw literally dropped when i saw some of these prices.... 160 per person!? 120 for a couple?? wow. i feel really lucky that we are still going to have a kick ass prom (and i know because my best friend is the president of the senior class making me co-chair of prom commitee) and only having to charge at the most 25 bucks per ticket. its just cuz we got 200 each year for winning homecoming and most everything for junior prom, etc. was donated. but jeez. still 320 for just one night is hella steep + if you add in a dress and dinner and every. you're lucky if you make it out under 500.

Well, it really depends on WHERE your prom is. I mean, some schools here have proms in the San Francisco City Hall or on one of the cruises in the Bay. Plus, there are optional party bus rides, which include a bar catered to high school students and a karaoke station (inside the bus), so having a $150 ticket per person for makes sense.

that is true... but we're having ours at one of the nicest places here (and there aren't many, so it's expensive) and it's on the waterfront and everything, it's really nice but its probably cuz we've been able to save a lot of money on donations and stuff and this is our huge splurge.
