caffeine

have any of you used caffeine pills. i use it pretty regularly i know itsbad but does anyone have other ideas to stay awake and actualy be capable of doing work

Why caffeine pills when you can drink coffee? I have to get in the mindset to stay up late-- mind over matter!

There was a thread that was about red bull v. coffee, and everyone was saying how red bull works much better. I have not tried either one yet.

Red bull tastes so bad--that's probably why it's so effective. You can't possibly go to sleep with the nasty aftertaste.

I don't go with caffeine. Heck, I'm still up at 2:30.

EDIT: Well, 2:30 my clock, 2:20 CC's clock.

Take a little nap b/f you study. It works for me.

3.20 by the way.

Either homework is taking over your lives or you're just up for the fun of it.

12:27.

i always stay up to game online w/ the chinese ppl in china cuz thats when my old man is asleep

When I know I got something major to do at night, I take a nap straight after school and sleep for about 3-4 hours. I can stay up to 6am, clear headed, and focused. Add an energy drink to that and you'll be dancing and singing to your music.
I know it's supposed to be bad for your sleep cycle thing but if I can get my projects done with a good grade, it's well worth the mark.

Lol I drink Starbucks doubleshots. Last year I only took caffeine pills during finals week when I couldn't pull it off anymore without htem. And it's not that bad.

I try not to use caffeine to stay awake... when I absolutely have to, I'll drink Pepsi or Coke.

I drink vanilla coke every morning, and if I need an extra boost, I buy mt. dew at the beginning of 5th prd.

Honestly, I don't think I could stay up for more than an hour if I didn't drink something caffeinated when I wake up in the morning.

I can functionw without coffee in the morning, but I start to get headaches by mid-day. I usually drink it in the morning and after school. I'm distru****l of the pills though.

I love random censorship like that. "Wi*lly distru*l" must be horrible language.

mmm. coffee does work its wonders quickly when it comes to staying up late. i havent tried red bull, but people use it a LOT for running a mile or two in PE. i heard it makes people kinda jittery. i once tasted rockstar. has a kinda fruity aftertaste.

haha. yeah. i think i`m going to be turning to caffeine to stay awake during the day in school too. today i tried showering in the morning (At 6AM). everyone says it "wakes you up", but the only thing it did was give me rock hard goosebumps that could cut glass and chattering teeth that can surpass the wind-up toy chattering teeth. and i dozed off in first period (during my two hour in class essay!!) haha. but i got a nice one hour long nap in spanish :D. harhar. vanilla coke, you say? i always thought sprite did the job.

Coffee vs. Redbull vs. Monster?

Coffee for me. Black, because milk and sugar are for wimps.

Eh, I don't drink/take caffine. It causes dependency and then once you don't have it, you crash. I'm tired as anything, but sleep is the best ;)

Well, I do have a cup of soda now and then. Most of the time it's decaffinated though.

I like Bawls; it's expensive, but not more expensive than Red Bull. I haven't tried Monster. Bawls is also very tasty, and I usually drink it for the taste, not the caffeine.

exactly :)

Well then I guess I'm a whimp by all your standards, I can't have coffee with no milk and sugar. Heck, I can't have coffee with just sugar alone lol.

Yeah, I use coffee if anything to stay awake....because you can sleep when you're dead. :D
