<p>^the calgrant line is really hard to get a hold of, but if you keep trying eventually you’ll get through.</p>
<p>Make sure you have a couple of hours free when you call because when I called last year it took forever to get through. (They only had operators from like 1pm-4pm and I had to dial and redial for 30min straight just to get put on a wait list. I then had to wait another hour or so to finally get put through to an actual operator.)</p>
<p>i just called the automated cal-grant hotline and it said i was not eligble, but on the website it says Pending Cal Grant renewal. ***, i meet all eligibility requirements and submitted everything, is this an error?</p>
<p>apparently they’re being really strict on who qualifies for a cal grant this year</p>
<p>Luckily they came through and now i have an award letter. Yeah so everyone who didn’t get an award letter before should definitely have one now.</p>
<p>I was glad my S got Cal Grant, but it didn’t change anything. UC Berkeley FIn Aid just replaced most gift money with Cal Grant. Was hoping he can receive at least something for housing. I guess, we should be happy for what we already have.</p>
<p>Wow my Cal Grant said denied this entire time on the csac website and now just today it changed to confirmed on myfinaid. This gives me like 1500 more dollars I hope they don’t take it back…</p>
<p>According to webgrants4students my Cal Grant is still pending. I am a transfer student who will be attending Berkeley this Fall. Do any of you transfer students have the same thing on your Application Status? </p>
