I recently got an email from cal grant and it asked if I am attending USC, then it asks if not where I will be attending so they can send the money there. I’m not getting any of my official decisions until march or April so do I just postpone until I commit somewhere.
This was what i was wondering too. Mine says berkeley…
@aeskimo @jellyjells Similar predicament here too. Cal Grant has my school listed as UCR, although the schools decisions do not start releasing for a few more weeks (Beginning March 1st.) Looking around at some previous posts, I guess it is imperative to have the Cal Grant submitted by March 2nd. There should be a window sometime after graduation (June ?) where we can go back and make changes to the school we have chosen to attend.
Older post here talks about something similar.

I would try to call the CSAC to clarify any specific issues as well.
Good luck to you both
I wonder how they chose the school to put as the school you’re supposedly going to for now. I got UCI as the school they listed for now, and I live 15 minutes away from the school.
I think the top listed school on is the one…until a school is picked
Probably by the schools listed on FAFSA?
