Mine is due the first also and I asked a few days ago about this and some people here from this thread said it took like two months for the status to change @Panitaispretty
Been watching this list for a few months. Thought I’d finally add my name to the list of students waiting on a decision from CPP. I applied mid-November and my portal states “Ready for Decision”, though they sent me an email last week stating my ADT will not be considered because it won’t be complete by the time I enroll. I guess summer classes don’t count as “planned” coursework. I’m hoping they consider my last 2 years over the previous 30 years of poorly attempted college work. I am a different person with a more positive attitude towards academics than I was as a young student.
Major: Business Administration (Tech and Op Mgmt)
Xfer: Fullerton College (40 units @ 4.0 GPA)
Xfer: Other CSU’s & CC’s (33 units @ 1.9 GPA)
Cum GPA: 3.0
IGETC: 1 class remaining (Golden Four) and is currently “In Progress”
Golden Four: 3 complete (2 B’s and 1 A)
Major Prep: 4.0 GPA
ADT: 2 courses left (Summer 2017)
Local: In-state, but live in Brea (Orange County not L.A. County) Matters?
This group thread has provided amazing support for all applicants to Cal Poly, Pomona and other schools. Great job everybody, and thank you!
Best of luck =)
Btw for people who got in, are any decisions. Released during the weekend?
Thank you
Do you guys know what “decision pending” means? I’m still waiting for the answers and nothing. I applied mid-October but they received my transcript in the beginning of the February. Do you think that is the reason my answer is delayed?
@Shahzoda it means that a decision will be sent (they have recieved and reviewed your documents). Can expect a reply by end of april or even may(most probably earlier tho)
Mine still says Waiting for Decision. Hopefully they make their decisions quick. At least before May 1st.
@Shahzoda if you go on cal poly pomonas sitr there is a status dictionary that tells you what each message means when you have different messages on your status:)

I just have to pay the $150 Enrollment Confirmation. I’m waiting for UCI before I have to accept. Preferably I’ll take UCI.
@LAHopeful Have you heard back yet?
I’m a Nutrition (Dietetics) major and have not received a response.
@purplesuede23 Same. I feel like it’s rejection
@purplesuede23 @Neeman123
Hi! I am also a Nutrition (Dietetics) major. You’re the only other one I’ve seen on this thread. Just to put your mind at ease, I contacted the head of the Nutrition & Foods department last week. She told me that their time to make decisions was extended and that they will be making their decisions after April 15th. So we should be hearing sometime in the next 2-3 weeks.
So definitely not rejected yet! They haven’t even sent out acceptances yet.
Hope this sparks hope <3
I was getting so worried so I had to contact someone and got super lucky she actually had time to respond.
@socaldogmom that is extremely helpful thank you!
I’ve been lurking on this thread for a while and decided to post.
My status is “ready for decision” I did the supplemental application that I’m pretty sure included my transcripts because they haven’t asked for them and It’s not on my “To-do list”, do I need to take any other action?
Here’s my info
Major: Graphic Design
Xfer: Chico state (60 @ 3.3 GPA
IGETC: (Golden Four) completed. 3 B’s and 1 A
Golden Four: 3 complete (2 B’s and 1 A)
Major Prep: 3.7 GPA
Internship: Designer for school newspaper
Local: My permanent address is local in San Dimas, but I’m currently attending Chico state up north so I’m not too sure how that works.
Any advice would be great. Thank you
To all those who haven’t heard back, it does not mean rejection. I know you’ve probably been told this a million times, but be patient. Trust me, I know how hard it is, but the only thing you can do is wait and chat with us in the mean time.
Thanks @futureSLOgrad for the tip on the status dictionary. My status is “Ready for Decision” also, so it looks like up until the end of April for a decision update. If my status changes, I’ll understand the terms better and be ready for whatever comes next… hopefully, “Admitted Clear” !!! =)
@TooOld4College no problem! It was quite helpful for myself too!
Am I the only one that cpp hasn’t requested transcripts from? Or is it because I didn’t apply for an impacted major?
@Neeman123 what major did you apply to? I believe all impacted majors are required to submit transcripts.
@Zygole nutrition
@Neeman123
Since Nutrition isn’t impacted, we weren’t required to send in transcripts. I know this because I sent them anyway and someone in admissions let me know that it wasn’t required haha. They only want our transcripts (for nutrition) after we are accepted and our spring term has been completed, which they’ll let us know at the time.
