Cal Poly Pomona vs UCR

The crime reports at Riverside are some of the worst I’ve seen. CPP is a good school. Both are about 25 away from where I live.
UCR can be a good school, yes, but for English or Urban Studies? At CPP those programs aren’t what they’re known for, I do see.
What it comes down to is: Is having UC in the title of your degree worth more than having a degree from Cal Poly?
