Based on previous discussions 2/11 seems to be a popular day to start hearing back
hopefully decsisions start coming out next Friday! Do they send decisions out on the weekend?
My son’s portal just got updated. Accepted for architecture. Oops international US citizen. Just wanted to let you all know…
Meant OOS.
@4maniars Congratulations on you son’s acceptance. Did he also receive an email notifying him to check his portal?
NO only the portal was updated.
@4maniars Is he Out of State or an International US Citizen?
This is so stressful! Hope we all immediately update our status when we know. My D is so filled with anticipation about this that she can’t sleep. She was not born with the patience gene.
@jjmama both…OOS and international US citizen
@4maniars what were your sons stats? I’m still waiting for architecture and I’m OOS
Just curious. What is an international US citizenship? Thanks.
A US citizen going to high school abroad.
Who here is applying to the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences? Please post as soon as you see a change in status on your portal. The rest of us are watching anxiously.
I didn’t realize chemistry was going to be so late in the game. Ugh.
I applied to the CAFES as agribusiness and my portal still says no determination has been made. It’s the only CSU/CP I have not heard from.I wonder what takes so long. They have had all our info since Nov. 30 and they don’t have to read essays like the privates and the UC’s do. I just was accepted to University of San Diego yesterday, and that app, with essay and supplements, was due Dec. 15.
How many days in between each school announcing?
Why not release all decisions at the same time? Hate the wait.
@Bigguy17 Cal Poly SLO has always begun releasing their regular admission decisions in mid-February. San Jose State also releases decisions beginning mid-February. Some high-stat students have heard from SDSU, others (like my D) have not heard yet. You are fortunate to have heard from most the colleges to which you applied, but there is nothing out-of-the-ordinary if some have not yet released results. The web site says that decisions will be made by April 1, but hopefully all will know before then! My oldest daughter was accepted to SLO via early decision; it was so nice to know by December where she was going. But unfortunately Cal Poly doesn’t have an early decision option anymore.
@Luckymom22 Thanks. I heard from the other CSU/CP (including SDSU) a couple of months ago, so I figured everyone had. I didn’t realize that not all decisions have been released. I’ll just be patient (but it’s hard!).
@Bigguy17 patience has never been my strong suit either. Hang in there–sounds like you’ve got some great choices already!
