From what I've heard, don't CSU's mainly look at coursework, GPA, and test scores for admission? Is this also the case for Cal Poly SLO, since it is very selective? I plan to apply for engineering, and my CSU GPA will probably end up being a 4.25. My SAT is 1310 on a 1600 scale, but I'm planning to retake the SAT and/or take the ACT as a senior next year, so my score will likely improve. I took Honors Chem as a sophomore, and as a junior I am taking Physics B AP, Honors Precalc, and Honors Latin 3. I am going to take AP Psych, AP Chem, and AP Calc AB next year (senior year), if that matters (since CSU GPA is only soph/junior year). Without considering extracurriculars, can I get into Cal Poly SLO on these stats alone?

Okay I just looked it up and realized that Cal Poly SLO looks at freshman year too, so in that case, my CSU GPA from my first 3 years will probably be 4.17.

Bump. 10char

You are right in there buddy. Here is a look at the student profile. Take the ACT and get a good score. Take the SAT again if you wish. But you are OK – Note: it is getting more competitive every year.

Can anyone else provide any insight?

Same as OsakaDad, take SAT again to solidify chances. 1346 is avg SAT, getting more competitive.
