<p>do acceptances come out in waves for majors? or all at the same time. Because I feel my stats were better than alot of people that have already posted for business and there is nothing in my portal yet</p>
<p>@yoloswagswerve69 Lots of business acceptances were notified yesterday, so I’m going to assume that we were rejected, which is something I’ve already accepted. Nothing is for sure since we weren’t notified, but it appears that way.</p>
<p>Have you completed IGETC and most / all of your pre-reqs at the time of applying? </p>
<p>@Spiffyb0i i completed all areas except for one in the IGETC when i applied and all pre-reqs except for one as well.</p>
<p>Ya I had a 3.75, had work and extracurriculars. Finished all but two pre-reqs before applying (will be done by spring) and finished almost all of igetc (except for 2 classes that will be done in spring) </p>
<p>@babyface11 @yoloswagserve69 I’m not 100% sure on this and it’s just my opinion, but I feel like Cal Poly SLO really emphasizes that you should finish IGETC along with major pre-reqs at the time you apply, especially for business. Some people haven’t (like MarkBoogie) but he has an AA transfer, which gives him an advantage. Just my 2 cents.
I’m almost done with IGETC (this quarter I’ll be done with my last class) and core classes will be done by the end of the spring. Since I’m in my second year, I’ve only had a couple of my core classes finished with IGETC was almost completed. This is why I think a lot of third year applicants will make the cut.</p>

I’ve been checking my calpoly portal, and haven’t seen anything. It says,“No determination has been made at this time.” Do I still have chance?

<p>@civilmechanical thanks, my GPA: 3.37, I had all my math and physics done part of chem done, plane surveying classes done, statics done, autoCAD done, an AA in Natural Sciences and IGETC done which also satisfies CSU’s </p>

<p>@ikerhua no im a Civil Engineer major. You might have a chance I dont think they stop sending admission letters until the end of April for transfers so you just have to wait. I think they will tell you if your not accepted but not until the whole admission process is done which is like May-June. Since the first week of May is when you have to make a decision on what University you intend on attending. But you can also keep checking your portal and it will also tell you there if your not granted admission.</p>
<p>@cmguevara, thank you for answering my questions. I do have one more though, are you a SLO local? Or are you out of the area? Out of state maybe? I I’m just trying to figure out my chances :)</p>
<p>I have similar stats but only a 3.1 gpa, I’m hoping the bonus I get from being in the service area will be enough to get me in.</p>

<p>@GED2Degree. From what I remember from previous years, I had multiple friends who got in much later than their classmates did with the same majors. I could be wrong but if my memory serves me correctly you will probably be fine :)</p>
<p>Try looking for the 2013 transfer thread, and see if people came in solid waves or if they trickled in. I’m going to do it myself right now :)</p>
