The rain did not let up all day. It subdued the celebratory vibe but I still had an informative day.
There was so much stuff to do. Seminar after seminar after seminar. The schedule was really tight. I was constantly hustling from one to the other and a little late for some. Some I flat out missed altogether.
I was told SLO Days and WoW would help fill in what I missed today.
I’m bummed I missed the transfer mixer Friday evening. I didn’t realize it was upstairs and just thought the big crowd downstairs was everything. What did I miss?

I was accepted back in February but I’m still waiting for the UC notifications.
@TheLongRun UCI is also very famous in the country for giving a lot of financial aid. I was accepted for fall 2016 and I wasn’t able to attend due to issues outside my control, but I essentially got a full ride. They give you so much. There’s also Blue & Gold at the UC for students whose parents make under 80k I think it is?
So how are things going with you guys who went to Open house and are applying for housing. Part of me makes me think I should change my SIR to this school instead since CSUN is taking so long with my financial aid package.
Has anyone been accepted but is holding off on the SIR because of UC decisions? I haven’t heard back yet but I know the housing app is already open and it’s making me nervous lol I don’t want to miss out on housing if I wait until the end of the month to SIR… 
@gabyitzelq1 I’m not waiting on any UC’s but I am waiting on CSUN’s decision on financial aid and I share you stress about having to wait so long to see everything.
@gabyitzelq1 Thanks for the heads up about UCI financial aid. I can’t get financial aid for the upcoming fall semester, but I would be able to for my senior year.

@FishoMath they sent an email a while back saying the housing application had opened up to students that SIR’d. so if you already did that, check your portal

@carolinag How do you feel about moving from the Valley to SLO. I’m just asking because some people are giving me a hard time about picking CSUN in favor of SLO, but I love the Valley and can’t picture myself in SLO.
