Cal Transfers: I only see the college, not the major

I applied for EECS. It says that I was admitted to the College of Engineering, but it doesn't have my major anywhere on the page. I can't find my major anywhere. Do other people see the same thing?
I would assume that I have been admitted for EECS specifically, but I don't want to take anything for granted. Any thoughts?

Edit: Also, anybody in EECS would probably be very interested in this info:
<a href="https://career.berkeley.edu/major/EECS.stm%5B/url%5D">https://career.berkeley.edu/major/EECS.stm</a>
I wish I had seen this earlier!

Look at that average starting salary!!

For Cal, you are admitted to a college, not a major. You declare a major formally AFTER you arrive there.

^what she said

Does this mean I can declare any major within the college I was admitted? I hope this is the case because I really want to go to Berkeley but I do not like the major I chose.

@Morshe: I think and also hope that this means we can declare any major within our college.
Emilsinclair (transferred to Cal last year) told us how he was able to declare Psychology, an impacted major, while he applied as a Philosophy major. I’m also pretty sure you can change majors at Cal until senior year.

@emilsinclair: If you read this, can you confirm that this is true?

OMG if it’s true I’m going to be a Bear!

Yay Bears! I think it is true. What major did you apply for and what do you want to switch to?

its true, at least for L&S. I was admitted as math but i ended u declaring econ my first semester and then declared math my 2nd semester for a double.

Thanks for confirming JetForcegeminix! This is definitely one of Berkeley’s many PRO’s! It’s not easy to switch into an impacted major at UCLA.
