cal3 advice?

Ok so I have Harry D'Sosa as my prof for Cal3 and I'm a freshman... the written homework due each week is freakin ridiculous. I'm not even gonna lie, I've never opened a math textbook to study until this class (took CalBC as a sophmore in high school, got a 5 on AP exam). The textbook doesn't even explain stuff that well... the problems in the end of each section are much more complicated than the examples worked out in the section. Anyone have any advice for how to get a 4.0 in this class? I feel weird asking for help cause math is usually my best subject, but this is just weird.

Any other books that might help?

On the Math Department website there is a list of tutors. You might want to give that a shot.

The homework is definitely harder than examples in the book or the like, but if you can figure it out, it really helps you understand the underlying concepts. The easiest way to get an A is to just put time in. The class overall is not that hard, and the exams are usually very straightforward.

I have prof. kriz... and i'm not having any problems with the course (285).
wow bc test as a sophomore.. i'm impressed. maybe you just need some time to get in the math mode.
