i will be applying ED to W&M next year however due to how my math course path i will be taking precalc as a senior with no option to take calc. i have a 4.14 gpa, seven aps, 26 act(i know its low but i do poorly on standardized tests) and i am the editor and chief of my schools newspaper.
is it possible to let the admission officers know that i can take calc at the community college over the summer or is that a bad idea in general?

Are you currently a junior? If so, why not take precalc at the community college next summer so you can take calc as a senior? Is that doable?

i am actually a senior and will be applying for the c/o 2017

If you intend to take calc over the summer you can let us know that but it likely won’t play much of a role since you won’t have taken it at the time you apply so we won’t be able to review your performance in the class.

thank you!
