Anyone who had Short Calculas 16a and 16b, how hard did you think the class was and what would your recommendation for someone that needs to take it but is poor in math?

I've never had it. I reccomend that you look up the different professors that teach it at http://ratemyprofessors.com/index.jsp

The courses for this fall with the teachers are listed at
http://www.math.ucdavis.edu/students/courses?term=200510&clevel=MAT-&sort=course

Looking at the reviews Kouba at 10am seems pretty good.

Get a good professor! If you don't love math a bad professor will make it so you hate the course and hence don't study for it which leads to a bad grade.

Thanks for the site links!

My roommate had Kouba for a 21 series calc class and said he was one of the best profs he's ever had. Beware though, his lectures are very popular and may be difficult to register for.

its spelled calculus btw. lmao

^^I've read the title so many times and just held off saying it. Glad someone did. Haha.
