I get exactly 4.0 for your UC GPA. Have you taken a Visual/Performing arts course? This is an a-g course requirement for all UC applicants?

Also, can you afford OOS tuition?

yean I could afford OOS tuition.Also, would a 4.0 recalc be competitive for the more competitive UC schools like Berkley, UCLA, or San Diego.

Without your SAT/ACT and an EC profile I am just guessing but, you’d need to be exceptional in those areas to be as serious contender for LA and B. Use the link above to find the admit rate for your GPA band. Even those with 4.2+ have a tough time at those schools.

Your GPA is a better match UCI/UCD/UCSB

Also, @gumbymom isn’t kidding about the visual/performing arts course. If you don’t have it, none of the UCs will accept you.

If u want my ACT, I have a 33, not htat impressive. For EC’'s I’ve got Quiz Bowl for 3 years, Rotary for 3 years, Model UN for 3 years, and Club Swimming for 3 years

Leadershipwise, I got Rotary coordinator. Quiz Bowl co chair and co president,

@qijianzhou: VPA requirement can be Orchestra, Choir, Band, Art, Theater, Ceramics etc… If you do not have 1 year of a VPA class your application will not be reviewed. How about an on-line class?
