calculating uc gpa for warren scholars seminar

the app asks for a high school uc gpa and i'm trying to calculate it but i cant get it right for the life of me!
i thought i put in all the right numbers but i got a 5.20 gpa which is wayyy too high. what am i doing wrong?
on my high school transcript it has an already calculated 10-12 gpa. would that be the same as a uc gpa?

Remember, you only get 8 extra points (meaning an A in an AP class = 5 instead of 4) total, for uc-approved courses.

Wow, you're the first who actually wanted to enroll in the seminar...

... not to be snarky, but you'd think someone applying for the honors program seminar would be able to calculate their own GPA. :/

lavieenrose51, if you really need help, give us your grades. your high school GPA is almost certainly NOT the UC GPA, because you probably took at least a few classes that weren't UC-approved. (i had a handful, yearbook and theology being two.)
