I had a 3.14 with 13 credits last semester and I’m guessing I’ll have a cumulative GPA of ~3.2-3.3 after this semester with 26 credits total. The caveat is that I’m most likely going to fail a math class that I had switched to Pass/No Pass grading at the beginning of the semester. What do you think my chances are? I’m taking 18 credits this semester and the math class is worth 5 credits. I’ll be applying as soon as my official transcript reflects this semester’s grades which will likely be in mid may.
I’m not extremely familiar with Indiana University’s transfer statistics and how you measure up with them. The biggest cause for concern is how your failing grade in math class will affect your GPA. Is there any way that you could possibly bump up your grade in math? What level math is it? I am currently taking pre-calculus algebra at my community college, so I could dm you some online links that I found helpful if you want. Just let me know!
The math class is P/NP so it won’t do anything to my GPA if I fail. It’s pre-calc for business. Links would be great!
