california scholastic federation (csf)

for kids in california...
this club is kind of an honor society, no? and if you qualify for it, should you put it under the academic awards thing?

i wouldn't think so... since it's rather easy, and i really just see it something like a "who's who" kind of thing... i just wanted some verification. i would think i should just list it under an extra-curricular, no?

opinions are welcome

its a joke. 3 bux to be part of the "elite" students of california. PLEASE. My school, which is title one and has a 50 percent dropout rate, has so many students in CSF that whoever doesn't get it is the joke of the school. Seriously, I wouldn't even put it on your ec list. I'm not. It is ridiculous in my opinion. Piece of crap in my opinion. so far wasted a good 9 bux on something I don't need

i'll make sure not to put in my academic awards list

however, i'm the president of the club at my school for two years, and we do a lotta good community service and have done some relief drives. so i would say it's a good ec... if i wasn't so involved, then i'd find it useless
