<p>I am a white male from Orange County, California and I am heavily considering going to Ole Miss. Before I make my decision i just had a few questions. </p>

<p>When pledging for a fraternity, would being from Southern California hurt me at all?
What type of sober activities do you do when you have downtime in Mississippi?
Is life at Ole Miss far better if you have a car?
Is there a good weight room for people not playing a D1 sport?</p>

<p>Being out of state there may be 3 houses that will be hard to get in, the others are fine. A lot of kids don’t have cars as parking is a pain and the campus is very compact. You can get anywhere fast and there are shuttles. Sardis Lake is a few miles away for swimming boating and fishing, there are a ton of clubs to join that don’t involve alcohol. Good weight room as well.</p>
