President of a club at school that encourages and guides students to college. 250+
SAT:1800
ACT:29

I also have a killer essay!

I think that if you want to have a chance at Stanford, USC, and UCB, you’ll need a higher SAT, like over 2000. Standford’s accepted rate is a little under 6% so they are very selective. I think Pepperdine and UCI are realistic. Not sure about the others.

Without higher standardized test scores, you’re going to need a crazy good essay and teacher recs for Stanford. If your school is really as bad as you say though, I bet that would be a significant boost in your chances, especially with how much you have accomplished otherwise. I don’t know too much about the other colleges, so I can’t say much, sorry. Thanks for chancing me!

Stanford: High Reach (for everyone)
UCLA/UCB: Reach
USC/UCSD: Low Reach
Pepperdine/UCD/UCI/UCSB: High Match
UCSC: Match
Great GPA and EC’s. SAT/ACT scores need improvement. Even with a “Killer essay”, Stanford will be a Reach.
Good Luck and prove me wrong.
