California University Advice

I've applied to USC, UC Berkeley, and UCLA and thus far have been rejected from UC Berkeley and UCLA. I still cannot login to the USC website so at the very worst I will be denied there also. Assuming none of my appeals are successful, I need to start making some alternate plans for the summer/fall.

I really want to attend a good California University so I think my best bet is to attend somewhere else for a year or two and then transfer. Which schools should I be looking at? I've asked around and the following names have came up: CSU Fullerton, De Anza CC, Irvine Valley College, and CSU Stanislaus. Should I be considering these? What are the best colleges in California that are still accepting applications?

It was also suggested that I could work for a year and gain residency to keep my costs lower, but I think I would like to keep that as a last resort.

Sorry to break it to you, but California sucks.

In all seriousness, De Anza is a great CC to go to if you plan in transferring to Berk or LA.

Thanks JackBauerPowerHour.

Any other opinions or thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Santa Monica Jr. College is one of the best JC's I hear

De Anza. I'm baised because De Anza is literally only a few minutes away from me, but from what I've seen and heard it's a really good CCC. I was pretty impressed from some classes I've taken there over the years..

Santa Rosa JC is a great CC.
