Calling all current or former students!!

Hi guys this is my first time posting on here though I have been lurking this site for months. I am a recently accepted 2013 fall transfer student coming from a state college in Florida. I received my transfer evaluation yesterday and will be transferring 50 credits. My attended major is Business. I need about 8 more GenEd classes in order to apply to the business program. I have spent the last two days going through all of the possible classes I can take in order to meet the specified requirements. I have found several things to be frustrating while searching for courses but mostly what I am finding is the limited courses available for me to choose for Fall semester.

What I really hope is that you guys can help me out by recommending a class that you took or a professor that you were very happy with. He are the required departments that I need to fulfill.

1-Historical Analysis Course
1-Philosophical and Moral Reasoning (PH)
1- Literary Arts (LA)
1-Visual & Performing Arts (VP)
1-Experiential Education (EE)
1-U.S. Diversity (US)
1-Beyond the North Atlantic World (BN)
1-World Before 1750 (WB)
1-Global Issues (GL)

Thanks!!

Have you tried using the “search by general education requirements” in ConnectCarolina? Try and get classes that hit multiple requirements. For example, intro to jazz will hit VP, NA and US. Plug in multiple gen Ed requirements in your search to find those types of classes.

Also, not all your gen ed reqs need to be completed to apply to KF. Of course, gen ed completion is required to graduate.

However, you will need to have all your KF pre-reqs complete or in progress to apply. Prerequisite courses must be completed prior to the start of classes for the term you are admitted.

EE will be easy to cover if you get into KF. They offer several classes abroad (short-term… over break or summer) which will serve as one of your six BUSI electives and EE.

New Yawk- I was wondering If I would be able to do that but figured I was going to have to wait to schedule an appointment with an advisor to find out that answer. Thanks for letting me know now.
