<p>I have a question: when it says “2500 character limit and no longer than 1 page,” does that mean single-spaced or double-spaced? And it must be in before 12 am tonight correct? lol I would have imagined that Caltech would have a clutch reliable site near admission deadlines.</p>

<p>I was thinking maybe 3/4 of a page single-spaced? That seems like a good lenth and I should be able to fit everything in there.</p>

I wrote an essay with around 2595 characters but it was around 3.1k with spaces…</p>
<p>^^Yeah, I had filled out (I think) every section with just about everything that I had wanted to say, except I forgot to mention that I’m on student government lol (gasp!). I’ll email them the essay once I write it (hopefully in next hour or so). My heart sank last night when the site went down

<p>^Haha exactly lol, generating content isn’t an issue, it’s being concise enough but showing depth at the same time! </p>
<p>It just gives a few sentences per question that they want you to address. This is why this is crazy-hard:describe 3 phases of your life in just a few sentences. Let the creative genius flow lol</p>
