Hey just wondering if anybody has been to a Campus Day yet. How much does it cost? What do you do during the day (besides tour the campus)? Are you divided up according to what school you are attending? Any info would be great. Thanks

I'm going next month. It costs $15, I don't know what they do other than the tour.

You are divided up by what college you are attending.

im going on friday. so after that i can answer ur questions

When you guys go, your tour group might go right past my room in south quad. We've done some pretty funny stuff to scare parents. It's a great time. We're not too intense about it though. Know that the crap most kids say around tour groups are complete lies.

chibears... What did you do? Do tell. This should be interesting. :)

I remember when I took my tour of Emory, these two kids (one of which I knew) were talking about "a shooting that went down a few weeks earlier" and how "this one kid was forced to drink so much to join a frat that he's now an alcoholic" as we walked passed them in the halls. Some of the other parents in the group had some pretty funny facial expressions. Kid winked at me as we walked by. Pretty funny

My parents aren't coming. I think I'm tagging along with a girl from school and possibly her mother.

Things we've done: let moms see our room, and that's scary enough for any mom. The usual response is something like, "oh my God" or "has your mother seen this". Sometimes we'll start playing instruments and singing 'N Sync really loudly. Sometimes we'll just walk out of our room saying we smoked way too much weed last night. Sometimes we'll just mess up our hair and look really tired like we just got up 5 minutes ago and talk about how bad our hangover is. Sometimes sexual noises/references. Or maybe "RUN AWAY!!!! LEAVE WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!" So much fun to have....

Oh please no. The mother of the girl I'm coming with will probably freak out. You fools better not mess this up for me, otherwise I might have to do my own laundry.

ROFL!!!!!!! :D Now I want to take a day trip over there to check this out myself!

Oh yeah, South Quad at 11 pm on weekdays can be quite an exciting place to be. Our antics are so fun :-)

Okay, so I went to campus day today. The highlight: My mom and I were sitting in this big room, listening to a guy talk about why LSA is so great. Then, I noticed something sticking out in his pants. LOL. The guy had a hard on, and it was quite obvious. In front of a 100 people. It was hilarious. It took all of my strength not to burst out laughing!

Basically you just get a lot of flyers/brochures and information. Overall I enjoyed it, and it wasn't a turn off. The only thing that sucked was having to walk all over the campus in the freezing cold on the tour which lasted over an hour. I actually enjoyed the food!

So LSA is orgasmically awesome?

IcicleRose, today was a nice day for campus day. A week or two ago would have actually been cold. I took a stroll in shorts today. And yes tetra, I'd say thinking of LSA gives me a hard-on usually. Any intensely attractive females in the group?
