Campus Day

to the accepted students: who's doing campus day, and when?

i'm going january 23rd! i can't wait.

it's just a tour.... not to get your hopes down, but it's not that exciting. at least for me it wasn't.

Get tickets to the hockey game that night if you can. It'll be twenty times more awesome than all of campus day combined.

I bought tickets a couple weeks ago, I'm so pumped! You're talking about the game against ND right?

That weekend we're playing Michigan State, and I've since realized that the Friday game is at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, and the Saturday game is at Yost. Notre Dame series is the weekend after that, with Friday at the Joyce Center and Saturday at Yost.

im going January 23 too, and i have already been on a tour, but I dont care, IM SOO PUMPED...besides i get to miss school anyways...so ya i guess ill cya there

yeah, i've been on a tour and have been to ann arbor quite a few times..idk i'm just looking forward to sitting in on a class.

Jan. 23rd for me as well.
I'm seriously considering buying tickets...

does anyone know approximately how many students will visit on a typical campus day?
also, do they split you into smaller groups for tours, Q&A, etc?

hey anyone gonna be there the weekend of February 13th

Campus Day, is it something like Freshmen Orientation.

CoolB - No, not as in-depth as orientation, which is later in year (eg. June). It is a tour, fin aid, student presentations, mi. community living meetings if arranges, college-specific info session. 8 a.m. to 4 ish and only for admitted students. A non-admitted student can create a similar experience in jr. year by calling department of interest, asking permission to sit in on class, arranging tour with welcome center, arranging a counselling session, etc. My S. did so last year, which really really really helped him get in this year (as he knew what to expect, how important it was to apply early, how vital bringing up GPA was etc.).

And yes to other poster...my s. is going feb. 13 but for performing arts tech interview and then doing campus day on the 14th even though there are no classes to sit in on (he sat in on classes last year...)
