Can anybody give me some advice?

I am now an electrical engineering freshman student at Drexel University. I want to transfer to GaTech for my sophomore year still in EE major.

I saw the Transfer Equivalent Courses website, I found that the English courses I took (ENGL 101 and 102) equal to HUM 1XXX Humanities Elective instead of Georgia Tech’s ENGL 1101 (which is required). Also the website does not list the course ENGL 103, which is the English course I am going to take for my spring term at Drexel. And I did not see any English courses provided by Drexel equals to Georgia Tech’s ENGL 1101.

I am also really confused about the PHYS courses, the courses I am taking, which is PHYS 101 and 102, are calculus-based, but there are no equivalent courses at GaTech. And I cannot find a PHYS course listed on the equivalent chart which equals to GT PHYS 2211 (which is required).

I don't know what should I do. The admission of transfer at GaTech said the courses (which have no equivalent) I will use for transferring would be evaluated but there was no guarantee that it is transferable.

btw, my GPA is 3.93 right now, is it good enough for transferring?

looking forward to somebody helping me out!

Call GeorgiaTech and ask, you may want to try the Engineering Dept rather than general Admissions as they are unlikely to be familiar with coursework requirements.

3.93 is a great gpa, it won’t guarantee admission, but it won’t prevent it either.
