Hi guys, it's my first time to post a thread here :D. I'll apply for transfer to Georgia Tech for Fall 2014 but have some questions regarding the transfer requirement courses. So, I'm in the middle of my sophomore year and already took two English transferable courses. But I got an A- and a B+ on them. (I was supposed to get an A- as well but IDK the instructor just killed my grades in the very end of the semester for no reason. I sent emails but he just refused to tell me exactly why >: Sad story). I'll apply for architecture but do those English grades have a bad impact on the transfer decision? I got A's on transferable Calculus courses and will take physics next semester (My GPA's: 3.73 19 credits, 3.62 15 credits, and 3.57 12 credits. The cumulative GPA is 3.65. I am going to take 16 credits this spring and already completed over 30 transferable credit hours). Merry Christmas.

what major you gonna apply

audiadam// I’ll apply for architecture.

HI
architecture will not as competitive as engineering major. I am taking English II next semester, and I got B+ in my english I. GT told me they are looking for the student who finish all required course and gain a good GPA. english will not make a big difference.

audiadam// That’s really helpful. Thank you!

no problem
