theres no way im passing calc, and theres no way i can drop it now. Can I audit it this semester and after hearing/seeing everything take it over the summer for credit?

Sorry to say this, but you should’ve listened to my advice. Like I said, virtually everyone fails the first test (and that is counting the ones that got As in calc. in high school), so hopefully you can withdrawal from it now, and take it when you’re ready again.

On the first test, I got over a 100… still don’t know how, lol.

I’ll be going to UF soon, can you tell me which class you’re talking about?

Unfortunately, the deadline to complete audit form was the last day of Drop/Add which was January 11th. You can petition to the drop the course until April 8th if you haven’t used your drops yet. You are allowed 2 drops within the first 60 UF hours and another 2 in the second 60 UF hours.

It seems early in the semester to assume you are going to fail the class. SInce you have time before the final day to drop, hang in there and do your best for the rest of the class and you may pull up your grade.

Is it MAC2311?

Do yourself a favor and go to the tutoring center at Broward AND TutoringZone.

I dont work for either, so dont think Im spamming or anything, but I took that class and got a B If I wouldve gone to tutoring zone like my friend, I know I wouldve done TONS better.

heres the website for
broward tutoring (free): <a href=“Academic Resources – College of Liberal Arts & Sciences”>Academic Resources – College of Liberal Arts & Sciences;

tutoring zone (like $26 per exam review): [TutoringZone - UF - MAC2311 - Calculus I](http://tzuf.tutoringzone.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=24&Itemid=9)

Honestly, you can probably still pull an A-/B+ if you study hard and dedicate time to the class!
If this is Calc I, if a TA “Thanos Gentimis” holds reviews before exams, GO TO THEM! He’s amazing!

Good luck! (try to leave the drop as a last option.)

Slightly related to this: As an accounting major I will have to take Survey of Calculus 1 and II (MAC 2233 and 2234) and not analytic, can anyone tell me about the difficulty of this classes versus the analytic versions?

Thanks.
