I went to community college for two years and scored a 3.9 gpa. Now ive transferred into a rigorous electrical engineering program with grade deflation. My gpa from cc did not transfer over. Now I have a 2.4 (C+ average) gpa at this school (all physics/engineering courses) after two semesters. I lived in the library and still found it difficult to pull all A's and B's while taking 4 technical "weed out" classes.

On the resume do i have to list my overall gpa as 2.4 or can i average it together with the general eds/math classes i took at community college since that is technically my "overall college gpa". Reason i ask is because is very difficult to get an internship in my area without a 3.0+.
