I applied as an econ major but I'm not sure If I wanna do business or not...

my boyfriend has the same problem. he called umd and they said that you can apply at the end of soph year to smith (i thought it was earlier...but i guess i'll ask about that later) and i actually heard it's a bit competitive. but if you work really hard first two years and participate in a few things, i'm pretty sure you can get in fairly easily.

wow, end of sophomore year?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!!! I got in thank God. Wow, my friend either did not get in or chose undecided as his major. he does, however, want to do business. I told him it was no big deal and he could apply with his high school and college grades after a semester or two. I'll guess I'll tell him.

Are all decisions final? I mean if he did apply as undecided can he call up and ask to be reviewed as a business major??

haha well see i thought at the end of freshman you could transfer....idk, i hope your friend and my boyfriend can cuz then they can participate in QUEST and business honor programs and all that! goodluck to your friend!

That is some ********(BS). I am so lucky i got in as a freshman. i can't believe that they have to wait till their junior year. Maybe its like that everywhere for every major but if someone was just on the boarderline they are punished for two years? I think that is stupid.

wowww. that's stupid!. yeah no, my boyfriend better beat that system, he wanted to get into smith. screw junior year hahha..we'll see how that goes =. thanks for the info, tho.
