Can I Finish SAT Early and Leave?

I am taking the SAT as a state requirement, and it is too late for it to count anywhere. I am wondering if I can guess on the test and simply turn it in and leave. I have things scheduled the day of the exam, and I would not make it in time if I need to stay for the whole SAT time. Would really appreciate some input. Thanks!

No. You cannot fill in bubbles on sections you aren’t told to start working on, and you cannot leave the testing room until your entire group is dismissed. Your score can be cancelled for not following the rules.

@AroundHere It looks like OP does not care about getting a score, they just don’t want to take the SAT.

If you really want to leave so bad, you could just do something that will get you kicked out, like flipping to another section.

@PureShores Getting kicked out would result in not receiving a score, which cannot work because I need a score- due to the state requirement.

Genuinely curious, what happens to the kids that get kicked out and get no scores? Forced retakes?

Surely it would be simpler to simply have the flu for the first half-day.

Just don’t go

What @JackM82 is saying ^^. Also, can’t they use of of the tests you’ve already taken to fulfill the state requirement?

I thought so too, so I focused on the ACT instead. Apparently every student needs to have an SAT score to graduate.

In other words, you’re a senior? If that’s the case, I think you need to get clarification from your GC, because my interpretation of the law is that the SAT is now mandatory for juniors in your state, but those who already has an ACT score were exempt. Regardless, no, you can’t leave early.
