**Can I get an "Amen?"**

Is there anbody else out there besides me who was a little disappointed in their ACT Composite, and is now waiting for those SAT scores next Thursday? Come onnnnnnn........BIG MONEY, BIG MONEY, BIG MONEY!! lolz

a 2350+ would be nice :)

all you need is a 33 ACT // 2200 SAT (preferably 1500 M + CR or around that score)

once you pass that, it doesn't really matter what score you have.. now it's up to yuor essays, recs, EC's, etc...

I disagree partly with Peytoncline. There's a large difference between a 2200, a 2300, and a 2400. Each one says a very different thing. Of course, those SAT scores will, by no means, be the most important thing on your app (unless you get the perfect score).

Once you have a 2200 though, improvement is very much dependent on practice and luck. Diminishing returns set in. So Peytoncline is right in suggestion that after you hit a 2200, your focus should primarily rest on your essays, recs, ECs and so on. However, there is no such thing as a stat that is 'enough'. Higher is always has been better, and always will be.

omg it's NEXT thursday!?????? Wow. This month is speeding by faster than usain bolt!
and haha yes, I am right beside you chanting BIG MONEY!

sad truth i have exactly a 33/2200 on the ACT/SAT

June Scores: 34 ACT, 2100 SAT

October ACT: 34 (ehh)

Hopefully my Nov. SAT will break into the 2250+ range.. then I'll be officially done with standardized testing of all kinds....

what srrinath is right... the higher the better, always, but once you hit that spot, more focus elsewhere in your app (ECs, rec, etc..) is more important

but higher is better, true
