Can I get in to Middlesex??!

bump..........

Please don't bump your thread four times.. you can always edit a post you know..

Anyways you have a good chance at Middlesex. I'm not going to talk about chances because it only prolongs the anxious wait towards decisions.

Someone said food at Middlesex sucked. Don't get me wrong, I really liked mx, just that's what I heard. I'm guessing it's bearable as long as you like a lot of different foods.

Well.... I'm vegitarian. Do they have good vegitarian choices there??

Middlesex, are you a male or female?

male

and if u don't mind how bout yourself

male too.

How tall are you? Are you a varsity athlete?

Middlesex- I think you have an amazing chance! With boarding schools you can never be sure but you have a TON of ECs. SSATs are important but an 84% isnt bad and everyone says that SSATs arent everything. Good luck! Are you applying anywhere else?

I am applying for a catholic school, I got accepted but don't want to go

Thnx for the support. Benevolent I am short- 5 foot 5. I play soccer and I am GOOD.

What sports do u play... Chance me

You play club?

I play 4 sports (Football, Basketball, LAX, Soccer)

AHAHAH benevolent u'll prob. get in. You have nothing to worry about. You're well above par for all kids applying. But I am at the average or even below. I'm freaking out!!!

mpicz yes I play club. My teams ranked nationally. We went to London to play against the best teams in England. We had a winning record but got crushed by the elite team

Anyways. benevolent, what EC's do u have????

U applying for 9th?

what does mpicz mean???

So are you on the elite team? Or is your elite team ranked nationally and you B-team?

I wish it was easy to be accepted...

I don't like mentioning specific EC's, as they may help admission officers identify me. I'm a four sport athlete and musician. I participate in numerous clubs ranging from fundraising for charitable causes and competing in interscholatic academic competitions. I'm pretty involved with my school and community and I have some leadership roles in and out of school. I guess my interviews were above average, but who knows...

My SSAT's were 87% or 91%. I have good grades, mostly all A+'s. I'm full pay, and I love Middlesex! It's my first choice. I'd say I have a 40% chance or so at Middlesex.

I am on elite. And my coach wrote an amazing rec for me. My elite is ranked nationally

O ok cool. My team was ranked number 7 at a point. 3 players on the national 16 and under team. And almost everyone ODP

Benevolent, if you think you have a 40% chance, i've got like 5%. I sadly haven't gotten to any charitable events yet. I only play soccer. My EC's are alright not as good as yours, and im in student council. I've seen kids applying to Middlesex. Trust me, you'll do fine. I would bump your 40% chance up to atleast an 80%. The reason being, because I have seen some kids who apply for Middlesex, one got a 69% SSAT and only plays basketball, I've seen kids who get 95% SSAT but do NOTHING else and didn't have great interviews, and I see average kids getting like 75's% and only doing a couple of things. If we look at certain facts and figures, technically you have a 1 in 5 or 6 chance. There's about 40% of the kids applying. Knock down a couple more people, and there's your chance to get in.

I'm another story tho. I seem to be at a 50% chance, don't know how my interviews went, but I need FA and am a day student. This will be the longest week of my life!!!!

chance if u want

****chance me

Middlesex, you have some real good EC's. 84% SSAT which is perfectly fine. I assume your essays were above average for Middlesex, judging by how seemingly passionate you are.

If you truly think your interview was REALLY GOOD, youhave a better chance than basically everyone. Interviews are soooo important.
