Can I get in?

I'm an international student. I'm half American and an American citizen, but I've lived in Scandinavia my whole life. I'm born in Sweden, but I've lived in Norway for 4 years.
Our school system is a lot different from American schools. our junior high school is grade 7 to 9th. High school is 10th to 12th grade. I’m a sophomore. We graduate from jr high and apply for high schools. We have a lot of different programs. There's health (to become a nurse), media, design, electricity and a few other programs. these are all work related and university is not required to have and education. A lot of students choose these programs. I study general studies, which is not a work related program. This program is like a college prep program. Most students who go here were in the top of their class in jr high, because a lot of students who were below average can't handle the workload. Even though my school is a public school it's a lot like a private school.
Schools in Norway don't have any activities after school.
We can't add extra points to our gpa (weighted)

My GPA is 5.5 (out of 6). I'm ranked number 1 out of 120 students.
Outside of school I run track and field and I came in second place at nationals.
I also take drama classes and I'm involved in the acting business.
I've written a children's book (published) and I'm writing a teen novel.
I'm also class president. I'm involved in an organisation for teens who fight for children's rights. We have a lot of activities (collecting clothes and holding open dinners at the church for homeless)

In Norway I can get in to any university I want to, but I want study in the US.
I don't have any test results from sat’s because I'm only a sophomore.
We don't have honours classes or Ap courses.
My dream school is Yale, but I also love Georgetown, Columbia and NYU.
I want to major in political science or English. Some of my courses at school include, law, sociology, English, politics and history. I love politics.
The cost won't be any problem and I will probably not apply for any support. My parents income is top 10 % in the country, and Norway is one of the world's richest countries.
I know an old professor who used to teach at Yale, he has a lot of contacts and said he would recommend me, will this help?
What are my chances of being accepted to these schools?

i'm not sure because i dont know how things compare between norway and the US.
but the old proffessor recommendations would DEFINITELY help. i'd say if you can get into any school in norway, and you have good extra curriculars and excellent recommendations, you should be able to get in...the professor rec will help you A LOT.
