Can I get into at least 1 ivy? Ill chance back promptly

Im a senior that recently moved and am thus having a hard time figuring out my stats at my new school, but the following is a list of where i stood at my old school and the two should be fairly similar:
I have a high school GPA of 4.2 weighted, 3.92 unweighted
My class rank is 14 out of 345
ACT composite=32
SAT superscored composite=2190
CR=740
W=740
M=710
SAT highest in one sitting=2100
SAT Math1=690
SAT Literature=700
SAT US History=700

I was commended as a national merit scholar for the PSAT and am a National Hispanic Scholar.

During my junior year i could take 3 APs and i only took two. I got a 3 on the US History and a 5 on the English Language. This year I'm taking 3 APs and Spanish IV. This year I'm taking 3 APs.

I volunteered 135 hours for a local Congressman and was then hired by him as a field representative.

My officer positions include: Olympus club class representative 10th grade, Olympus club treasurer 11th grade, FBLA vice president 11th grade, after moving i started a new chapter and was FBLA president and founder in 12th grade, DECA vice president 11th grade.

The activities i was involved with include: AcDec, quiz bowl, FBLA, DECA, NHS, History Day, Model UN, Olympus, Stock Market Game, National Finance Challenge (3rd in state for 2 years), and National Economics Challenge (3rd in state for 2 years, 1st in state 1 year which put me at 35th in the nation), and young Republicans.

Do you think I can get into any ivie league schools? Please rate my chances on a 1-10 scale. . .I'm kind of freaking out right now, so thanks for the help.

I think you have a chance at some of the lower ivy’s. Percentage wise, here’s were I would put your chances. All schools are RD.
Cornell-60%
Dartmouth-55%
Brown-Same as Dartmouth
Columbia-45%
Upenn-same as Columbia
HYP-30%

You certainly have a shot, but many if not most with your stats will not get into any ivy.

I’d say it’s about 50/50 for some of the Ivys. I’d say you’d be good chance for Cornell
It’s really hard to stand out now a days it seems
who knows what they are looking for every year
Heres mine :slight_smile:

Dartmouth and Brown are WAYYYY more selective than Penn.

I think you’ve got an okay shot at Penn, Cornell, and Dartmouth. The Holy Trinity, not so much haha. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if you got into at least two of those three. Then again, I also wouldn’t be shocked if you got rejected from all three, but that’s just the game you play with the Ivies. Good luck!

[Chance me if you can!](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/804395-chances-university-michigan.html)

Wont the OP’s URM status help him?

yea you’ll probably get into one of the ivies. Just apply to all of em is what I’d say if you really want it that bad.

I agree with Swervmerv. You definetely have a chance-most likeley Penn and Cornell based on admission rates. Youve got the stuff to get there anyways. Chance me back?

Cornell and brown are good reach schools

Dartmouth too.

Penn… maybe if you ED

Rest - not probable

I hope you mean ivy-equals by selectivity and you are not just hoping to go to a school with reputation.

Your stats look great although the SATs are a bit low for the Ivies. Your GPA and ECs are good though. You definitely have a chance at some of the less selective ivies like Upenn and Cornell but I would suggest researching other schools that accommodate your interests/major. Best of luck!
