can i get into emory, ga tech, or uga?

<p>I am a Georgia resident I have an uw GPA of about a 3.53 and a weighted GPA of a 3.6 also my freshman year was pretty screwed up with a lot of B's and few A's but I had 2 C's but I picked up my game and now I have all A's with the exception of one B. I took the sats in march and got a 1500 (pretty low...) But I took it again and I think I got around a 1700 (close to Wat I got on practice test) I'm going to take the act this Saturday and I expect around a 27-29 (again thats Wat I'm getting on practice tests) aside from test scores I have taken all honors class and have taken ap chem and ap calc an. Next yr - my senior yr I will take ap bio so I will have a total of 3 ap classes, also by the end of highschool I will have taken 6 science classes. Clubs... I am in my school leadership team, national art honors society, science national honors society, ill prodbeta club - if I get invite, I have done up to 250 hours of volunteering, I am going to do environmental club Some of my fine arts classes have ben 2 yrs of photography and I have done foundations of studio art. I have a job at kumon tutoring kids in math and reading so if that helps me be a well rounded student yay! If not what should I do to make myself outstanding for Emory...Emory has always been my dream college since I was 5</p>

<p>For either school I want to do prepharmacy or bio major also I believe ill be able to write an excellent essay </p>

<p>Please please please be honest about my chances please don't bring my hope up if I have no chance at all</p>

<p>Your chances will be better if you apply to Emory’s Oxford College than if you apply to Emory College. Oxford is the original campus about 40 miles from Atlanta and the students go there for their first two years and then complete their degree at the main campus (Emory College). Compare the student profiles and you will see why you have better chances there. </p>

<p>You need to determine whether you would be happy at Oxford, but during your final two years you will be indistinguishable from the Emory students that were at the main campus all four years. </p>

<p>Be sure to look at a wide variety of schools and don’t fixate too much on one. Be sure you have a safety (and none of the schools in your list is a safety) that you can afford and will be happy to attend. Good luck!</p>
