I really want to get into these schools and I hope it comes across that even though my GPA isn’t like a 4.0, I’m dedicated and want to change the world in a positive way. Thanks for any feedback

Your SAT is around average for USC, NYU & just below for Georgetown. I think that, in terms of the essays, the Ferguson one is the most interesting and the Girl Up is a potential supplement. I would be very, very wary of using your first one because of how easy it is to fall into cliches. If your GPA is a weak spot for you, then you definitely need to compensate with SATs/subject tests. How many times have you retaken?

I’ll say:
USC: Waitlist
NYU: Accept
Georgetown: Reject

Best of luck! Chance me back? http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1966406-chance-me-upenn-ed-yale-brown-princeton-etc-will-chance-back-p1.html

No, I would say you have a really good chance at all those universities (your EC’s are good and your background certainly does help you a bit).

I’d say:
USC Accept
NYU Accept
Georgetown: Waitlist or Accept

OP hasn’t been back on cc since February so assuming they did not get into USC or just dropped college confidential from their to do list. No other posts in other school forums since Feb either. Seems to have moved on.
