<p>I already have 2 teacher recommendations from school teachers (Math and English) but I want to get one from my writing tutor too. I have known her for 4 years and it seems like she knows me the best. She has seen me improve in writing and go through my difficult life. </p>

<p>That depends on the school. Some will accept more than 2, some won’t. And each one that does will want you to submit extra recommendations different ways.</p>
<p>And why not do it electronically? Really, that makes it much easier on everyone.</p>
<p>I think commonapp does not allow students to put another teacher recommendation. Just 2 can be written and 2 teachers can be invited.</p>
<p>Innate, this is not correct. It depends on the college you are applying to. If that college does not accept more than x number of recommendations then commonapp will not allow you to add more, alternatively you can add more teachers.</p>
